If you are worried someone is feeling suicidal, it is important to remember the following things:

If it is a high-risk situation, dial 999. Keep them safe and keep yourself safe. If a person has suicidal thoughts, let them know you care. Encourage them to talk to someone they trust.

They may find it helpful to talk to their GP or NHS 24 (111).
