Surgery News

Just to update everyone, Dr Miller gave birth to a beautiful baby girl at the beginning of April.  I’m sure everyone will join us in congratulating her and her husband.

Whilst Dr Miller is off we have secured the services of two of our regular locum doctors to cover most of her sessions. Dr Hannah Williams will be covering from 12th April to 14th August and Dr Dorothy McDonald from 21st August to 15th December.

Travel Vaccinations

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to complete and send the travel form at the bottom of the page at least 6 weeks prior to travelling. The practice nurse will then call you to give you an appointment to discuss your travel arrangements and the vaccines needed.

If you enquire or submit a form within 6 weeks of travelling you will be directed to the private travel clinic in Perth.

You can also visit to find out further health information before travelling abroad.

You will pay £20 for a private prescription and £20 for administering the vaccines.

You will also have to pay the pharmacy for the cost of the vaccine. All malaria tablets are out-with the NHS and you may have to pay for a private prescription.
