Noticeboard

COVID vaccinations

While many of us are eager to receive this Covid vaccine as soon as possible, we are asking that everyone is patient so that we can deliver this complex programme as effectively as possible. This will be in waves, starting with those aged 80 plus from January 2021 onwards and working down the age groups towards spring and early summer.

You will be contacted directly when it is your turn to be vaccinated. Please wait until you are before attempting to make an appointment or turning up at the practice.

You do not require a doctor's sickness certificate for any illness lasting seven days or less. Your employer may however require you to complete a self-certification form (SC2) which is available from your employer or at our reception or on the HMRC website.

For any illness lasting longer than seven days you will need to see the doctor for him/her to issue a sickness certificate and for any subsequent renewal of the certificate. If your employer insists on a sickness certificate for 7 days or less a charge will be levied.

INSURANCE AND MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS (not covered by NHS)

E.g. HGV medicals. Please telephone for a special appointment well in advance. A list of charges for non-NHS services is available at reception. These cannot usually be done at short notice.
